Micah Tyler Benefit Concert
September 14 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
We are excited to bring Micah Tyler to Spokane for a concert to benefit A Child’s Hope Spokane!
Micah Tyler is a singer/songwriter from Buena, TX. Tyler was named “National Male Vocalist of the Year” by the Gospel Music Association at their 2012 Immerse Conference. In October of 2013, Tyler released his first full length solo record, “The Story I Tell,” which debuted at No. 3 on the iTunes Christian/Gospel charts. He has shared the stage with national touring acts such as Building 429, Big Daddy Weave, Phil Wickham, Crowder, Sanctus Real and Jeremy Camp. Tyler has a deep love and respect for the local church, along with a passion to reach out to the unchurched with his Gospel-centered “Southern Soul” music style. He’s truly a creative talent to be reckoned with, as evidenced by his “You’ve Gotta Love Millennials” video, which went viral within days of its May 2016 release and has surpassed 50 million collective views across social media. Tyler’s “Different” was nominated for #BreakOutSingle at the @klovefanawards this year!
There are times where I’ll just go to the Lord and ask Him, “God would you make the things around me change? Just so I can be ok. Like I’m trying to do my best right now and I feel like I’m doing good, but things around me are just really messed up and they’re hard right now. Could you just make these things different?” There are times where God answers that prayer by just helping calm some storms around us and fixing things around us, but there’s also just times, and I’m learning this right now, that we can’t rely on Him to make everything different around us. There’s times where God puts us in situations where He can make US different so that we can live inside of the moments that He’s put in front of us, so we can be the change that we feel like needs to happen around us. – Micah Tyler
